What is GPP (Guaranteed Prize Pool)?
A large-field DFS tournament with a fixed prize pool that pays steeply at the top.
A GPP, or Guaranteed Prize Pool, is a daily-fantasy tournament whose payout is guaranteed by the operator regardless of how many entries fill it. Prizes are top-heavy — first place can return hundreds of times the entry fee, while most entries lose.
Winning a GPP requires both a high score and a unique lineup, which is why ownership and leverage matter so much more here than in cash games.
